Wrong Cam ?

The cam is almost certainly the right one as any mods away from standard on a Diesel are a non starter, the clearance between the piston and valve at max lift is 2/3rds of 1/8th of next to nothing ! Its why you dont get variable valve timing on smellies !.

Many thanks boys, I feel that at long last we are getting there now, will try the suppliers mentioned if the engineers here in Turkey can't find one before we fly home.
