I am getting back into use my main water tank in the keel. Its maybe 20 gallons in size.
Whats the minimum hose size I can get away with? The usual 38 mm. size seems likely to give problems in getting the hose through the furniture etc.
I will have a separate breather.
Thanks for your ideas

Deck fillers, 38mm hose and large jubilee clips all take space and end up costing a few pennies. I've copied what a lot of continental boats have and that is a 15mm filling connection with a direct clip on/off connection to your hose pipe.

Fills very quickly and no chance of dirt etc. going down through the deckfiller.

An isolating valve inside can be a good idea.
