Water Pump Seals - Penta MD 2040

Anyone got a source for the water pump seals, or pump overhaul kit, for a Penta MD 2040. Tried a few Google searches, but am not convinced a kit is available. A new pump for a green engine is eye-watering....!

If yours is not the MD2040B then choose Diesel Engines in the menu on the left and a full list of engines will appear.

Part number 833996 is probably the part you need, google "Volvo 833996", just done mine.

Its the same over here (Norway) Volvo deal whats to charge £64 each for the seals in cardboard boxes. I went to spares supplier, £36 for two! No boxes! The same make of seal!

From memory, the two seals for my MD2020 (quite likely the same seal) were about £3 each from Keypart several years ago.
