Obviously not. Just throwing out an idea for the rest of the readers. I said I favored them at my house. I didn't even say "boat."Is the OP supposed to change the whole marina to yet another non-standard fitting?

All the local chandlers sell them but for €35!Pop down to the local ferriteria with the photo, sure he will recognise it.
When you say chandler's, I'm thinking you mean nautical, as we know generally normal household similar bits are cheaper,All the local chandlers sell them but for €35!
No. It's one solid piece. The pic looks like an olive soldered on to a copper pipe, is it homemade job?
Went to the local ferretarias here in Empuriabrava and they just directed me back to the chandlers! When you say chandler's, I'm thinking you mean nautical, as we know generally normal household similar bits are cheaper,
Of course if it's a well made quality item, then it should at least be long life..
Get away from the coastal area ...inland and seek out a ferriteria...here on Tenerife the chandler's are two or three times the price of the ferriteria. There's one chandler's I browse through the window and the prices are astronomical (well to me they are but I'm an old git) I wouldn't dare go inside. Spose you have to accept the expense of boats..good luck.
