All the local chandlers sell them but for €35!
When you say chandler's, I'm thinking you mean nautical, as we know generally normal household similar bits are cheaper,
Of course if it's a well made quality item,then it should at least be long life..
Get away from the coastal area ...inland and seek out a ferriteria...here on Tenerife the chandler's are two or three times the price of the ferriteria. There's one chandler's I browse through the window and the prices are astronomical (well to me they are but I'm an old git) I wouldn't dare go inside. Spose you have to accept the expense of boats..good luck.

Went to the local ferretarias here in Empuriabrava and they just directed me back to the chandlers!
 
Thanks for everyone's input. The OP was to identify the part which I think I have done. I don't need one right now as mine is perfectly fine. The exercise was to identify it in case I need one in the future or someone else asks me where to get one.
