The formica lining the walls in my heads is coming off. I was thinking of not replacing it, but just paint the walls with epoxy. There are showers in the heads.

Is this wise?
Does anybody have any comments, hints or suggestions?

Does anybody have any comments,....

I found Formica a real pain to work with but the alternatives were either not practical or would have looked second rate. Not an easy job to get right no matter which way you go.

The walls in mine are covered in a type of vinyl which I am going to paint with danboline,

I tried a sample last year and it still looks good and shows no sign of lifting or cracking.
