Wahkuna sinking

Does anyone out there know if the container ship that ran down the Wahkuna last May 28 has been identified? Will there be an MAIB investigation? Will there be a prosecution?? Pls let us know!

If you go into the Dept for transport website (www.dft.gov.uk) and look under marine accidents page, you will see it says the Wahkuna incident is "under investigation" This, by the way is a fascinating website, that publishes full investigation reports when complete. (if you are not afraid of flying, the AAIB section of the same website makes for some interesting stuff as well - don't fly Robinson R22 helicopters for example!!)

Just had another look at the site, and read the report of the high speed ferry "Portsmouth Express", which injured people and caused damage and flooding at East Cowes. It seems the huge wash that it created was "not fully appreciated" by the skipper and pilot on board during sea trials. Why not????
