My old stamping ground, had my boat at Burgh Castle, in abbout 1976, learnt to sail from Grit yarmouth, down the east coast, my Brother lived aboard in Southwold and we know the area well, nice to hear from somebody up that way, had my first sailboat, built at bure mmarine, on the bure then, Jack the owner of the yard, happy memories! That bloody haven bridge, with bloody awful tides under the thing! great fun!!!
Yes that was us, we had been out, but sea state not good plus we had fuel problems so return, checking on problems across breyden water engine stopped?
Dropped Hook and blow out fuel lines, then on to Norwich and a trip though the city by inflatable. How did you get on ? Where did you go? What is your boats name and type.
Falcon 27's (there was 2 of us) Juan and Morning Mist II, We ended up at RNSYC Lowestoft for the weekend because of the awful weather. The burgee was flying tho.....
Yes we did see you and would have ended up at the RNSYC if we did not have this fuel problem.
