Vp TMD41a oil pressure sender

Also from memory the sender is unique to the Volvo Penta and price to match . ???
There is not a clone knock off or sender from any other source its the VP item or nothing if you want an accurate reading on your oil pressure gauge
Did try a Bosche but nothing exactly matched.

Thanks guys, I have rebuilt my dash with Kus gauges from asap and couldn't work out why the oil pressure showed half what it should , I'd got 5 bar gauges but the vp one was a 10 bar one, yeah that'd be why Doh!, 5 bar is a better range for 30+ year old engines so I'd rather change the senders to suit.

Volvo VDO senders only work with VDO gauges , believe me I’ve been there , they don’t work with Durite or Faria gauges , I doubt they work with some of the Chinese stuff on eBay either .

I'm a bit confused as to why that should be as I've just done a little experiment on the bench with the original VP oil gauge and some resistors, 10ohm and it read bottom of scale, 100 ohm and it was centred, 180 ohm and it gave full scale, exactly what I'd expect to see any euro range gauge do so the senders should be fine with any euro gauge.(except the fact that mine are 5 bar not 10 bar so only read half the actual pressure)
My engines have a large earth lead attached so I guess I can use any single pole sender that matches the gauges and let the thread do the grounding, I can always check accuracy with the resistor leads I've made up.
