Colhel good morning; I have same boat and have leaky valves at the front of the engine with blue shut off wheels. They are feed and return for the hot water tank. I wondered if you know where these parts can be source? We've got a Nimbus 3003 with single Tamd41a. Easy to maintain but when you say they're difficult to start from cold, I've never had an issue with starting except when I had air in the system after a filter change, I'd probably go further and say if they don't start straight away I'd be concerned but it could be a simple thing as above.
I have a different boat but a TAMD41p with those same calorifier isolation valves and mine started to leak a few years ago. They are no longer available (or at least I could not find them) and have now been superseded by 90-degree hose tails, VP part number 961607, with a ball valve in the hose (see last picture below). However, I bought new O-rings for my existing valves, VP part number 955989. Tricky to remove and refit the barrel but certainly worked for me and has been leak-free for 2 years so far.Colhel good morning; I have same boat and have leaky valves at the front of the engine with blue shut off wheels.
