Volvo Penta major issues need advice

So it look like a have a smoked 2016 D6 with less then 400 hkirs … this is what the AD is telling me

#2 cylinder. The scoring on the block is very severe. And will require replacement.

Is there a option to rebuild this engine or sleeve it ? Not even sure what the wait time would be on a LB …

Stumbled over it at € 526 ex. VAT but may be an indication only.

You can sleeve it but the correct way is a new long block , I’d guess you have had a failing injector or injector sleeve to cause this major failure .
As Oldgit has said I reside more on the Motor boat section , but as I’ve said in a previous post I intended to purchase a boat for the Thames next year .
