Hi all,
I’ve got a Jeanneau prestige 34 with VP D4260’s, 650hrs.
On 3 or 4 recent occasions I’ve had a ‘check engine’ error message on the starboard engine if I go WOT when accelerating , or going for a high speed run. The first time it was accompanied by a limp mode/ limited revs and yesterday when it occurred full power was still there.
Once I’ve restarted all error messages have gone. I was advised to change the primary fuel filter as it may be a fuel flow issue (now done), the fuel is crystal clear, and all other levels are good. Boost pressure is also matched across the engines.
I have a service in a couple of weeks, so I’ll get the engineers to check it out then. I just wondered if anybody had any ideas or suggestions as to what it might be?
Thanks
