Volvo penta 2002 120s, raw water filter

We have an intermittant raw water blockage, have been blowing the line back to the saildrive with a dingy foot pump and it clears for half an hr or so,
Question, is there a filter I need to clean?
There is a bress TEE on the top of the saildrive (see pic attached) is there a barrel filter inside the tee.

No filter. The water enters through slots in the lower leg and up through an internal channel to the stop valve screwed into the sousing. Yours is not standard. The Valve has been replaced with a 90 degree elbow and a separate stop valve located in the pipe. If you are getting restricted flow first thing to check is the inlets at the bottom of the leg which means hauling out.

Thanks Tranona, were on a cat near Tin Can Bay, QLD so will beach it and check the saildrive inlets.
