Volvo MD7a Exhaust Parts

I have checked the exhuast elbow where the hose connects and it is looking very rusty, are these parts still available and if so do we know where from??
 
Mine didn't look bad, just the odd brown dried up trickle to investigate.

I made up a stainless replacement.

I have a feeling that if I hit mine it will be identical to yours, at least Volvo are consistant /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Any photos of stainless elbows people have made ?

May save reinventing the wheel, as I am going to bite the bullet and get one made.

the injection "spigot" has just fallen off the elbow of my 6 1/2 yr old Nanni 4150 due to the cast iron rotting through /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

a new one is £124 /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
& it was found when i was tightening clips ashore it could have broked in some foriegn Hbr with associated costs
 
Thanks for the response, i was looking at the asap website andwondered if they do an alternative to a very expensive volvo part.....
 
Try www.mmc.dk. They have one on page 348 of the 2008 catalogue in stainless steel. Part no 980203. Price 1431 Danish Kroners or with flange 980204-1650 Danish Kroners.

Managed to get one from Keyparts, £135 + vat, came the next say as well. all sorted now /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
