Hi
I attempted to remove the pressure cap on top of the heat exchanger on my Penta MD2040 to check the water level and the whole thing came off in my hand. Please see attached photo. There seems to be a flange that fits into the heat exchanger and into which the pressure cap screws into. It looks as though it is a pressure fit which has some kind of sealant round it. Has anyone come across this before and does it mean I need a new heat exchanger or is there an easy way to fix it.
Many thanks in advance
