Volvo evc a water level calibration

Is it possible to calibrate the water level gauges on an evc a system without the vodia tool ?

There is a user calibration mode but i don't know if this is on the evc a system

I think it is. I have a downloaded EVC-C installation manual, not the easiest thing to find at the time I got it The EVC-A one may well be available on line as well if you look hard enough. If not, I'll have a look tomorrow, the procedure may well be the same.

Just looked at the EVC-C installation manual; no water level calibration procedure as far as I can see, but it does give a fuel level calibration method. The same method I would imagine as for the water level calibration. No guarantee EVC-A is the same though!

Activate helm station.
Enter OEM mode ( press multifunction button for at least 5 seconds, led and "OEM mode activated" flashes for ca 5 seconds.
Select settings.
Select OEM mode from settings.
Select and set fuel tank volume.
Select and set fuel tank empty ( when empty)

When done, exit OEM mode by pressing multi function button for at least 5 seconds

If your first generation EVC you need the vodia to calibrate , it's easier to use a dummy sender unit to calibrate the setting
