Volvo D6 Gremlins. I'm stumped – HELP PLS!!

See Post #42 above - the PCU needs to have software coded to the engine serial number.
Then you can run calibration / auto configuration.

Been doing some digging with the supplier and turns out the PCU was from a D9 inboard, whilst we have a D6 Stern drive. No wonder the trim functions dont work. Regardless with this, its still strange how our existing PCU's can both fail on the boat. What can be the causes? Can a software or configuration just 'disappear' from the unit through time?
