Volvo penta D1. 20 Starting

Hi I am confused and ask if the below is normal or there is a fault
Boat left for week or two
Turn on main power switches
Push engine on switch
LCD display comes on
Does checks and buzzes
Push start button
Nothing lcd goes blank
Press. On again
LCD comes on
Push start engine starts
Then starts normally until boat left and main switches turned off
Then same procedure next visit
Is this normal. Thanks

If the batteries are fully charged.
"Push start button

Press. On again
LCD comes on
Push start engine starts"

Would indicate a loose wire or bad connection,
That could be anywhere between the batteries-switch panel-starter motor.
