Simple enough question. Which would the learned panel choose all things being equal?
Is the Cat a more industrial engine, lower revving the smallest in the range rather than the largest in the range in the case of the Volvo (ok technically not but lower and upper). Had Volvos all my boating life and I think we are conditioned to see them as the norm, other countries would see Cats in the same way.
I understand the Cats have to be serviced by the official dealers as technical info is held onto tighter than the nuts on their dumper trucks. But I haven't heard a bad word spoken about their dealer network so possibly not a bad thing.
I welcome your comments or is their no difference?
Thanks
