my rev counter has developed 'stickiness' in that it eventually jerks to the right revs but sticks in its position when the throttle is opened or closed. Is it a poor connection or a fault in the mechanics of the rev counter itself?
volvo rev counters are notorious for becoming faulty after a few years use. they absorb dampness. sometimes they can be "cured" by gental warming in an airing cupboard for a few days.
Was that Genital warming or Gentle warming? I don't think putting his genitals in the airing cupboard will help really /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
I have the same problems, even the engine hours digital read out didn't work. Drying out worked but I'm not sure how many years longer it will last. Replacement is a non-starter financially,
Be careful with the genital thing - guy form Jackass is being sued for a similar stunt !
