I say sink the raggies - never met a ruder bunch than those round Hamble. One threw my lines off whilst I was trying to help an engineless raggie get onto the pontoon and only last week had to give one a blast because he wasn't looking where he was going and was on right hand side of the channel and there we were with no water left trying to avoid the blighter. And if I catch the one who disconnected my shore power cables I'll .... him.
Stop it stop it i am crying with laughter at that one.
I can volunteer as crew alone.
Or I could hire the sunsail fleet and create havoc in the basin as 40 boats all try to cram into one lock with 3 Fairlines in there already, with raggies having forgotten about lock and already stowed fenders.
Nice one tcm, You've got the Yotties talking about a 100m exclusion zone around their boats. I know who to blame when this is added to the COLREGS. ;¬)
Aw. 100m isn't much at sea, really. Anyway, it's all bin abandoned policewise. Indeed, I think hlb and others plan to spend the rest of the summer practising for the "Don't do this under any ciorcumstances" part of the leaflet/video
There will be no swiss girls carrying binliners in this video, nor will be storyline include scottish types rushing up to help them, assisting them with heavy binliner, at which she obligingly etc etc. etc. behind the bin store.
Ok, I get to be the boat in the video with the women on the foredeck playing with Dodo's. That way no raggie is going to complain about how close I get to them.
hmm alright. But for the still pictures you'll have to supply your own badly-fitting rectangular black mask that goes over your eyes. You can be in the "unnneccesarily over-helpful towards others" section.
all voluntary I'm afraid. But you do have an (admittedly still flimsy) excuse that in helping any/all of nubile crumpet with assorted boat gear/bin bags you are in fact practising for the part and it's in a good cause...
