Visitor electricity charges

On the broads, the visitors electricity posts provide 2.9kWh per £1 card.
You buy the cards from certain local shops and visitors centres.
They have 32A and 16A connectors.

And they show how much is remaining, so if you are lucky you can plug in and get a night’s electricity for nowt. Same in Titchmarsh if I recall correctly.
 
Similar on the harbour master’s pontoon at Torquay, plugged in with around 30p left and there was atill some credit left when I departed the following morning.

My home berth had electricity included in the rate so previously had no real idea of how little is consumed unless running a dehumidifier or some such.
