Nick has done tours of a 2015 Fairline Squadron 65 & a new Fairline Squadron 68

Ive added the videos below...

Ah those just don't float my boat as much as the older 98-> Squadron 62 does, the square edges and rectangular styling just puts me off, it makes me think that the architect/designer was not given a flexicurve in their drawing tools and only had a set square. It's like the modern house styles here they are all square boxes stuck together nothing seems organic.
We have an architect living a few doors from us, her husband's family are builders and the houses she designs are to my eye sterile and lifeless boxes and I have to look at two of them across the street from us.

I really like the Leader range, we looked very seriously at a 36 with the joystick control in late 2020, but decided against it. I like the French style in boat design.

For that price bracket it would be hard to choose anything over the Swift Trawler 41 but the Addons can bump up the price a bit

I know they're different boats in the way they are used but thats what id buy if i was looking to spend £350,000

Nice boat. Two feet shorter than the Princess V40 which has more space in most areas judging from the video. Also nicer finish for the Princess, but is that worth nearly 200k more? Probably not.

Princess has gone up tremendously in prices in recent years. I watched the video below the other day; V50, 900k at boats.co.uk. When the V48 was tested by MBY in March 2014 the price of the test boat was 455k. These are effectively the same boats.
They have tested price elasticity to the max.

I find the new Princess & Sunseeker interiors really bland and a bit boring.

The new X95 looks like it was designed by Ikea.

A lot of boat for the money. Shame about the cramped engine bay, but that's the cost of the aft cabin...

While I love cherry wood, not so keen on this layout and it has Volvo engines.
