I’ve been - and whilst there are tide warning signs I actually don’t think they are that helpful to the uninitiated. I’m sure I’ve been on other causeways which were much clearer.Stupidity in the extreme, lots of tide time warning notices. Local kids party there in summer, not wanting rescue.
Modern iPhones (and presumably the high spec competitors) not only survive a dunking but can be used for shallow underwater photography - until you damage the screen etc.I am impressed that after being in the water his phone still worked. Was it in a waterproof pouch?
Sort of activity that comes from a bet the night before? This fella was suicidal in going there in winter; why?
Most (err, many?) modern phones are waterproof. Even my first-gen iPhone survived a dunk with minimal after-effects. The bigger issue is water droplets confusing the touchscreen.I am impressed that after being in the water his phone still worked. Was it in a waterproof pouch?
The RNLI luv a shout, ask them, especially to a nutter in distress It gives them something to tell the wife/husband when they get home, plus an interesting subject in the pub while chatting, and chewing the fat, whilst enjoying a pint.Darwinism fail at this attempt. I hope RNLI dont risk their lives or their resources on this nutter again
