VHF license training in or near Bristol?

Does anyone know of somewhere that does the VHF license course in or near Bristol?

I did a course in Portishead, which I had won in a raffle. The instructor was the coxwain of SARA.

Dave Sidwell runs the course for small groups (2 people) in Long Ashton. He also runs courses at the college in north Bristol. I've sent a PM with his e-mail.

I did the course with him and it was really good.

I did the course in Portishead with Compass Sea School. They also teach all the guys from Portbury Dock so group sizes vary.
An enjoyable day was had by all.

I did mine with the DOT in London when it was a very serious affair. Rather different than today when basically all you need to do is turn up to get your certificate!

Tell that to the young people today and they just don't. . . . . . . .
