Vetus BOW23 bow thruster manual.

We have one of the original vetus bow thrusters the BOW23. Has anyone fitted a new prop to one of these, any info appreciated. Also a workshop manual would also be appreciated.

All you need to remove the prop is a cross-head screwdriver, just watch the drive pin does not fall out of the hole in the shaft when you withdraw the prop, it is small and hard to find on gravel! (took me ages!)

Behind the prop are two seals, available from Simply Bearings, which need to be greased on assembly:-
1off VS20 NITRILE Rubber V-Ring For Shafts 19-21mm
1off BS115 2.62mm Section 17.12mm Bore NITRILE 70 Rubber O-Ring
