Quiet time of year I guess.Sailing season more or less over and most of us not started on winter refitting.
I dont think theres much danger of YBW shutting us down ,over1300 posts in a ,matter of months.
Personally I think the Bristol Channel forum is going well .A few more contributors would be good .If everyone on here recruited one new contributor it would take off really well.

Heres one,my boats coming out saturday, whats the weather going to be like?i reengined this year in january, but i am underpropped, currently 10inch dia by 12pitch,(its a sailing boat)when i did the calcs for the new engine the old prop was in the parameters so save a few bob i thought leave it on,but at 3/4 revs on a flat bay i`m getting 4.5 knots 5 knots flat out it should be a knot faster,i have got a clean bottom.or is it not worth bothering with?i dont know.never mind plenty more work to take me through to springtime.
Certainly sounds like a smallish prop for an eventide. What size is the engine?
Props often turn up at boat jumbles .Only a wild guess but 13 inch diameter sounds more normal for a boat that size.(i am presuming you still have the Eventide )
Hi i might have got that the wrong way around,if it is a 12 inch dia then this is the max i can have because of the distance between hull and prop tip,and i dont want to start cutting wood away.engine is 9hp volvo.
I dont know a lot about it either, but there a few web sites about that will do it for you,Hope you enjoy your trip to warm watchet,i would love to tag along with you for a few trips next year in our boat if thats ok with you?
