Vendee Globe and Alex Thomson / Hugo Boss

Anyone know how to just track people in the virtual race ? I've gone through the website and found Flaming but when I click the button that should take me to a map the app assumes I want to participate and set up a boat
Not sure you can... It's free to participate with the basic boat, and if you start late you start at the "support frigate". Even if you just started and sent your boat off to crash somewhere you'd be able to track competitors.

it seems the guy did not break his mast at all , but blew out his mainsail ( i thot 8 knts with a broken mast was a bit unrealistic ,,)

today ,,, Charal has some favourable weather but is going to have to speed up a bit,, la Fenetre only just now catching up with the tail of the fleet ... prob AT will loose his lead today .

Thanks, thats another way to waste a few hours :)
Weeks...
And months...

I had 2 groups of friends doing the race. One doing only the free boats and one who had gone all in. Initially I just used the free boat. But after 5 days I was several hundred miles clear of the other free boats and hanging onto the back of the moneybags group. So I decided to pay... And now I'm leading the moneybags group and in the top 50k overall.

I think I have a problem.

Different people.

Nicolas Troussel on Corum was dismasted
KOJIRO SHIRAISHI on DMG MORI GLOBAL ONE blew out his mainsail

Are you sure - where is this information?

The Japanese entry has had to repair a blown out mainsail but all reports of Corum L'Eperge are being dismasted and motoring to the Cape Verdes

EDIT - Flaming posted whilst typing - fingers not fast enough ;)

Here's a video for you Cherod (from 16th November) when Kojiro had just got his main down. There have been 3 since then following his attempts to repair the sail (a far cry from getting out the sailmaker's palm, needles and repair tape of old).

TY ( again ) (y)

The weather for AT over the next few days looks very complex with many areas of calm to dodge.
mmm, whats happening with AT ??
He's getting caught toot sweet. The 3 behind are consistently faster. I don't see how this sailing inside can be beneficial for best performance. Something not right. Even JLC on an old non foiling boat is keeping up
