My Impellor looks like its been attacked .... bits missing of the blades ... such that I doubt it will show correct speed ..
Second the cable is broken at display end. The square end has come away from the inner cable .. the inner cable is lost down in the outer.
Questions : ( I have never had to repair or service a Sumlog before ).
Inner cable I assumed should be S/S to avoid corrosion as the water must fill cable till waterline ? This then voids using any land based steel cable with squared ends.
The length of cable ? I assume this is cut to suit at the impellor end ? As the display end needs the square drive part ?
Where to get replacement impellor and cable ? I assume impellors may be speed rated ? to match displays ? My display is 0 to 30kts
