Are any water based varnishes suitable for a teak & holly cabin floor? I'm taking the old stuff off to bare wood & not looking for high gloss.

Two months ago, I would have agreed with you, but having recently found the new VOC standard of Johnstones' floor varnish is not as nice to use as the old, I regret not using water based.I'd use a single pack Polyurethane varnish
Another vote for Ronseal Diamond Hard Satin. Easy to apply, quick drying, reasonably non slip and very hard wearing. If it does get damaged it's easy to slop on another coat mid season.Ronseal diamond hard is decent ,
