If not, your 'useful' post could have one of two effects on people such as me, in future, when we find a bargain:-

1) I might spend hours trawling through every forum to make sure that it hasn't been posted already, despite the fact that the forum doesn't have a very good search function and despite the fact that I rarely look outside the PBO R2R forum, rather than simply post something quickly in the hope that it will be help to fellow forumites, or

2) I might just not bother doing anything

I bought some dry bags from Lidl a few years ago for a canoeing trip. They didn't last long - very little plasticizer. I would buy from Lomo now - good quality and good value.

I've had two of the Aldi bags on the boat for three years. One as emergency grabbag and one for SWMBOs hand bag. They've been packed and unpacked a few times and show no signs of wear. Good stuff.

Never seen the blue ones but can vouch for the yellow; we've had a couple for 2 years, lots of use and no problems!

An orange one and a yellow one accompanied my on my Scottish circumnavigation last year. Both still in fine fettle.

I've now tried two branches, neither have even seen these bags. A real bugger, as I'd like several.
