Evening all...I am looking for someone who can repair some seat covers from the boat .Glasgow or west of Scotland area .Any recommendations?

There are several upholsterers... The bigger ones can be VERY expensive... A friend of mine used a lady in Maldon, but he's just jetting off to Middle East for a week. I'll try to remember to ask him for her contact details...

Hi,

I did some work in the Edinburgh area earlier this year- and as my company normally works in the south, had to find a local upholsterer for some leather sofas for an office fit-out. I used a company called Design-a-bar. They do all sorts of stuff and do a very good job. I have used them on quite a few jobs since- admitedly all commercial stuff, but always good quality and value. I know the guy lives in Malaig and works from the Edinburgh area during the week. His name is Ian Lees on 07977 218 787 or 01592 712233. Might be worth a try......
