Present VHF is Raymarine 240E with 2 mics, 2 loudspeakers (1 inside , 1 outside), raystar 125 GPS.
I upgraded MFD to Axiom 12 plus AIS700 plus EV100, ACU400.
some old seatalk1 instruments (wind, depth) are interfaced to Seatalkng.
I would like a new fixed VHF with GPS/NMEA 2000: Raymarine or other brands like ICOM (M510/M423G), Standard Horizon, Garmin?
Which one?

Not much to choose between them to be honest, but i would go for Garmin or Icom. Your biggest issue will be availability, which has been a major issue for this past 12 months for black box VHFs.

If you are just fitting a standard VHF, perhaps with a second station handset, then i'd go for Standard horizon.

Commonly in Denmark. Dizzy Too, most of the time.

Recommend ICOM M506 with integrated AIS receiver and recording feature to replay the latest communication. DSC logs and more.

AIS displayed on the VHF and shared via NMEA 2k. Even NMEA 0183 is compatible if you need.

Apparently discontinued so a bargain might be in sight.

The successor is M510, of course with app to connect to mobile etc. and a higher price.

Why fit another AIS device, he already has a £1000 Raymarine AIS 700 ?
