Update on SmartGauge problem, and request for advice

Thanks for all the help with contact details for Merlin.
I rang Merlin but they said that due to the workshop cost of fault finding, it wasn't an economical option to try and find out what was wrong with it, as there are no serviceable parts available anyway. They did offer me a reduced price for a new one though.

So after 3 weeks in my airing cupboard I decided to try and refit it yesterday and see what happens. To my great relief it is back working, and after clearing the error codes for a break in power, it's back working as normal. It will take a few discharge and charge cycles to get back to an accurate SOC but very relieved it's working ok again.
