I have just had an email from Glasgow City Council confirming that their pontoons (Plantation, Govan, Yorkhill) are still closed and that they have no plans to re-open them. The Kelvin Harbour pontoons are open.

If the weather encourages (ie not very nice) I'd quite like to do the trip - I'm just waiting to hear back from the Tall Ship people if they have room at Kelvin Harbour.

Nice wee pontoon there but a bit busy. The ferry and SeaForce school have the majority of space. Speak to them.

JD, where did you get to today? We’re parked in exotic Wreck Bay.
Didn't get anywhere. Had a delay soon after leaving home which missed us the ferry, so bad in rain-sodden Galloway for another attempt tomorrow. Depending on how long it takes to get the boat ready to go, we'll either overnight in PB marina or head south to Kilchattan Bay or Millport.
