I am doing a comparison of marine fuel prices.

What is the normal price for marine diesel 60/40 split and unleaded petrol at marina outlets in UK? is diesel 60/40 split about 95 to 100ppl?

What is the price in UK for Road diesel and road petrol U/L?

In France last week Carteret road diesel E1.128 = 100ppl and Carrefour road diesel E1.1928 = 105.7ppl

Port Edgar Scotland 1.43 pounds/litre for 100% propulsion today.... Only 1.22 at Tesco up the road and it is white.

Thurday afternoon at Morrisons in Reading I paid 116.9 per gallon for diesel. Locally I have been paying 124.9:eek:

From memory the unleaded was 2p per litre cheaper.

Don't know about marina prices we have not put any fuel into the boat since October 2008:D

Just paid 118p ltr with60/40 split at Poole bridge that's nearly road price. Are Cobbs Quay still doing a goog deal and can none birth holders get discount. Off Brownsea Island a moment waiting for sun hoping the wind dies so we can stay the night bit choppy now but great to be out

When you know that cost from a fuel supplier inc of vat delivered to your tank is less at the moment than 50p per litre I truly cannot see how mdl and premier are supplying fuel at cost to there customers.

Someone please come along with all the maths and add ons that Mr Cameron/clegg are now taking off us and tell us that they are really selling it to us at cost price to them.

Im in Lymington at the moment and have just run my genny for an hour, im my opinion the fuel it burnt should have been less than 50p per litre as its for heating / power and not propulsion, fat chance it ever works out like that at all.

Last weekend the fuel at Port Hamble was £1 per litre went by today it was less than that, seems they have dropped it for the hols, there are not many visiting motorboats here at all, id say over 90% yachts are up here in the town quay area, not many mobos on the way here either.

Wind has dropped at bit now so hopefully will be tied up in Weymouth tomorrow

Not withstanding the point you're making Paul, current price around here for red, delivered inc VAT, is circa 61p.

I was in Caracas, Venezuela last month... to fill a tank in an average family car, from empty, cost 75 pence.... I stood by my car (as the taxman coined it in) the following week thinking "how come I have to pay 100 times as much..."
People may argue they are an underdeveloped country and a major oil producer, with subsidised fuel... but I am sure WE had oil in the North Sea and never remember fuel being that cheap here...
The locals complained that water was costing them more... I told them to shut up and be glad they dont live in the UK...

Thanks for the replys so far, I am not looking to buy any but I am doing a comparison between CI France and UK and I need some more Uk prices please.

Swanwick was 88p at the w/e to berth holders 60/40

Understand from a mate that Guernsey is 45p

Was in Falmouth a couple of weeks ago, their fuel was the most expensive ive ever bought

Petrol £1.84 pl

Diesel 60/40 £1.43 pl

Filled up last week at Cobb's Quay at 85ppl at 60/40. Fuel at cost as with berthholder's discount.

Refuelled at Weymouth today at 87ppl so only 2ppl more than 'at cost'. Go figure!
