Oh what a friendly little community of live aboards we have.:love-struck: After the snow last night people checking on each other, just like village life in the good ole days. Lovely lady currently biking into town is bringing back fresh donuts, heating is working well along with new dehumidifier delivered yesterday and brought to us and lifted on board by super friendly marina manager as we were being blown off hard and couldn't safely disembark from our high sided home :applause:

Sense of community makes a lot of difference. Where I am now, outnumbered by floating bedsits inhabited by a sullen lot who keep themselves to themselves. Still a few of the old stagers and we rally round each other

Have to say spuddy Your lucky
We broke 2 mooring lines with the wind and marina basically said nothing we can do to help
When i said we couldnt disembark due to the gap and wind someone finally came to us and throw a line to pull us back to the pontoon. No community here if anything they anti liveaboards
