U V protective netting

Can any one help please with the name of the fabric that can be used as side screens on a Bimini . I have searched the archives with no luck. Also a supplier in the UK would be very welcome.

You're perhaps thinking of Phifertex.
(There are other brands of similar sun-screen mesh, some of which may well be comparable in quality and may be more readily available in some countries. I think most are made from acrylic fibres.)

I'd suggest you drop 'UV' from any searches you might do: the mesh is no more UV-specific than a brick wall. "Sun screen fabric" or "shade cloth" seem to work fairly well.
