Aside from the fact that my boat is too big/draws too much for the last two, this gives another explanation why some of us tend not to tie up to harbour walls. All three of those would require me to dry out my fin keeler. Not saying that is something I would not do but, given the opportunity, I would rather moor up against an all tide pontoon and spend time drinking in the pub that would otherwise be spent tending lines as she took the ground.
