turkish transit log

Hi All, what is the current cost of a transit log and what is the cost of a page change for a different crew.
As of August 2024, approx 150euros for transit log, and depending where you do crew change 50/150 euros for crew change.. You are allowed 4 separate crew changes before you have to buy another transit log.. Bodrum being one of the most expensive ports

As far as I know the current cost of the transit log itself is 2,200TL = €60 plus you have to pay a tax which varies by the length of the boat but was 1,800TL = €50 for my 13M in June. On top of this I was asked to pay another 500TL =€15 for some charge from Customs but I'm not clear exactly what it is. So all told around €135. Most places now they also insist you engage an agent which will set you back another €60 to €100 depending on who does it for you.
I've never done a crew change.

Checked into Turkey in Bodrum ( June 24), via an agent 350 euro , this high price included adding three crew members who came for a week.
Checked out of Bodrum (Sep 24)via an agent 200 euro.
Both times very easy, agent waiting at customs dock and took less than an hour.
Checking back into Greece in Kos was a beaurocratic runaround over one and a half days !!

Your check-in/check-out costs in Türkiye were on the high side. I paid €200 for check-in in Kuşadası in June and that was through the marina who are generally more expensive than agents. I regularly do check-in from Türkiye in Pythagorio and it's a breeze. I don't use an agent and I think the transit log costs €32. I checked in at Corfu in June coming from Albania and the experience was exactly the same.

In 2016 /2017 I left Falmouth UK to go cruising. I had paid £6500 for my last year. Not including electricity.. Today I have just paid the same amount for a 12.5 metre boat including electricity and water for 14 months . And 7 or 14 nights free stay in any of the other marinas in same group. (not including electric or water). At £115 per week this old pensioner can stay another year 😂

Great to hear you're sorted for the next year or more. Maybe we'll see you in Kuşadası again next year for a visit - although the bloody place is still a virtual construction site.

Hi. I hope so.. Had a great year so far, cracking sailing wise.. Been a bit hot 🔥 though 😂. Putting boat to bed in December. Might do a road trip up your way in the winter.. Thoughtless son has planned a wedding in June so won't be sailing your way till mid summer.. Would be good to see your new boat 👍

I read that the Turkish government Web site is accepting/processing entering and leaving the country by boat. that's almost all I know , I'll investigate!
