Greek Transit Log Online Application

Apparently we now have to apply online in advance for a Transit Log when entering Greece from outside the EU

It's a very detailed document and i can't see any way of filling in details and saving them without completing all sections. It starts by asking your arrival date which is difficult to give in advance if your trip is weather dependent.
Has anyone on here done this and do you have any advice or tips.

According to posters on the CA website, the application must be made on arrival in Greece, although the implication is that it can/should be done in advance. It seems that Greek bureaucracy is becoming ever more complex. Many seem to have had enough and voted with their keels. I understand that port officials are now recommending the use of agents, to whom no doubt they are related.

I certainly intend to do it myself. The form is unwieldy. You need to know the alphanumeric code for the station where you'll check-in. It also asks which tax department/area you're in which doesn't make much sense if you're a foreigner coming from abroad. Almost everything on the form us set up for Greeks - no place to fill in your country of residence, just city, and it doesn't ask your nationality. God loves a trier so I'll give it a go.

I couldn't find any way to save the form without submitting it. Not sure what will happen if I have to change my arrival date

You can't submit it before arrival because it needs to include uploads of your stamped passport and stamped crewlist.

You can save a "prototype" which is essentially a template with most fields filled out.

We checked in at Symi mid March and it was pretty straightforward. We popped into the customs office before submitting and checked on a few things we were unsure of, the lady was helpful.

Thanks. Did you just scan the crew list with your phone? Did you use the old Greek crew list form or just your own generic form?

Won't it allow you to take a screenshot?
If not take a photo with another phone is what I do.
