Trouble With Waeco Fridge

fridge

Just sorted same problem replaced the thermostat £57. Dont bother trying to get an answer from Dometic they have never answered any of my e-mails. If you manage to get through eventually on the phone all they do is refer you to local agents.

Not too sure what type of Waeco fridge unit we have, but the problem is that the compressor appears to run continuously and the fridge doesn't get cold.

Can anyone help?

Most likely a lack of gas. :(

Dirty condensers cause high temp/pressure and will operate the compressor cut out, a safety thing.

The unit is five years old. The manual's Trouble Shooting section suggests that the condensor needs to be cleaned. What is the condensor and how do you clean it?

The condenser is the "grille" with the fan blowing through it on the same base as the compressor. Use a vacuum or a light brush.

The condenser rejects the heat. If it's filmed over with dirt, it won't reject the heat and the cooling cycle won't work.

Sounds like your refrigerant has all leaked out. Domestic were amazing when I called them for support. You'll need to return your cooling plate to them for regassing I think.

Best of luck.
