Would it be ok to use the same anti-foul on the tabs as normally use on my boats hull? Or would it have to be an outdrive anti-foul.
I had used the hull A/F last year on them but now thinking about it i'm not sure thats correct.

Mine are stainless steel and i use the same. Best I have found for minimal growth on the upper Hamble is Micron CSC Extra 2, not cheap, but the fuel saved easily pays for it.

I am still undecided what to put on my shafts and bronze props, as I have been bedevilled by barnacles the past three seasons, and by mid-Summer the speed is badly affected. This winter the props looked more like gorse bushes !

Choice seems to be between TK spray, Trilux 33 and Pelly Clear (I think that's what its called - a two pack).

Have wondered about this in the past but all I can say is that the company that does my boat in Spain has used the same anti foul for hull and tabs for the last 12 years with no ill effects.

Just to hijack the thread little I've noticed that now they paint right up to the drive and I've always thought you should leave an inch. Has non copper anti fouls changed these rules?

Trilux is non copper, so you can use right up to and on the drives. I don't know what your guys are using of course.
