I'm after some technical advice on resetting the trim guage on my outdrive. I've followed the manual that states to put about 20kg of weight on the leg and line up the notches on the cog like wheel. I have then tried turning the sender unit but the numbers go round like a roulette wheel.
The lowest reading I can get is 36. Where it should be -4.
I have to use the overide button to raise it.
Is there another way?
Is my guage faulty?
Any help please.
