Just bought a boat that was antifouled with International Trilux.
The boat is 1 year old and has been in the water for the full year.
I will be having it lifted out soon and powerwashed. Will the antifouling need to be replaced ???

It was put on by the builder (parker 235) and was gelshield 'ed first.
She was first launched in sept 2005.
We will be trailer sailing it but could be afloat for a few months at a time.
Just wanted to know really if it is worth spending £100 for another coat.

Will depend on what area the boat is in as well. If applied properly I believe Trilux has been known to last for 2 years in certain places.
Surely if you are going to use it as a trailer sailer you can clean the hull and apply another coat whenever you feel it is necessary.
Leaving the boat in the water for only 2 or 3 months is bound to mean less fouling. However if this period is in Spring - early Summer, you do seem to get most fouling then. Or you do where we are anyway.
