Now there's coincidence, I was only admiring a Triana ashore at Birdham Pool over the weekend ("Sonny" IIRC). Gorgeous looking boat, I hope the project goes as smoothly as you hope

Have a look at www.classicoffshore.com (COPC) which is a classic powerboat club catering for just your type of boat.
We would be happy to help you by giving advice from experienced owners, and maybe offering other assistance should you require it.

Altomareblu are very pro active and seem dedicated to all things marine & motorised. I sent them some pics and a bit of history and they have produced an article that is on the site. Link is http://www.altomareblu.com/restauro-triana-levi-25-jaykay/

It would be great to see similar articles on their site as there seem to be quite a few Trianas in the rebuild process.

Some ten years ago, a chap in Hythe Marina restored a Tropicana, including the addition of two brand new 4cyl Volvo's on outdrives (can't remember what they were). It was a beautiful boat when finished, and it went like stink! Great project you have - good luck, the end result will be superb.

Thank you Aardee, but interestingly my "Sonny" was a Triana Tropica with twin engines and this one is clearly an earlier Triana 25.
Anyway, nice looking example.

Update - Progress at last

Quick update - Port engine & drive fitted by the engineering team, very exciting. They will glass in the new engine mount support and replace the wiring harness. Engine bay will be flushed & finished when the starboard engine goes in...... more pics to follow as things progress (I promise)
