Hi,
Something of interest to those of you interested Transatlantic weather.
With the season getting underway, I thought you might like to see some higher resolution actual wind charts.
I've added wind speed and direction grids (NOT GRIB) for the Europe-Canaries and Transatlantic routes to the www.atlanticweather.co.uk website and weatherweb.net.
The charts are inferred from actual wind reports and are not forecasts. They are intended for those who are planning a trip, or know someone on a trip, simply to ascertain current conditions.
I can't post images here, otherwise I would, so sorry to have to refer you away from YBW. Of course, if YBW want the charts I can supply them direct
I plan to add the charts for other areas of the World soon, so if you have any suggestions, please let me know.
