I have just recently become the owner of this wee trailer sailer. She's 14ft long has a sugar scoop style stern and a small 2 berth cabin. I think it looks like a Starley Idyll also known as a Gazelle 18 but at only 14ft clearly it's not that. The design is very similar which makes me suspect it is an Arthur C. Howard design. It could of course be foreign but it has a needlespars mast which supports a British build. It has a cast iron swing keel and is of quite a high build quality with anti slip deck moulding. I would be most grateful for any thoughts. I have quite a good selection of boat data books etc but cannot find anything about it including lengthy online searching

Unkown boat

I think I may have found out what my boat is, in the Oct '79 issue of a magazine called Yacht and Boat Owner among the list of boat companies and their boats I have found a referrence to a boat called a Clipper 15. The comapny is Clippercraft mouldings Ltd and was at 47 Norwood High Street West Norwood London SE27 9JS. That is the same address for Coleman Marine who made the Sun boats ,Sunspot,Sunstar,Sunray and Sunflair. These were all desinged by Arthur C. Howard. any pictures relating to this would be amazing to see

a very distinctive reverse sheer. Looks a very practical small cruiser. And well strapped down too !

Sorry, no idea of the brand.
