Trailer Plans

I have volunteered to build two new trailers for RIB’s which my sailing club is about to buy. When I volunteered, I thought that it would be easy to obtain plans, especially given the ever growing DIY market. I now know that I was wrong !!.

It appears that whilst people are happy to sell the parts, there is no readily available source of plans/instructions on how to put it all together.

I have the necessary equipment (MIG welder, grinder etc.) but don’t want to make it up as I go along. So can anyone help me find a source for plans or ideas on how to proceed ?.

INDESPENSION used to sell a book with plans of all sorts of trailers, boat trailers etc. I think they are still around - in Bolton if I remember. very useful with all sorts of useful hints. I had one several years ago but doubt if I could find it, not much use now as it was before all the latest trailer regs.
