... with a boat. Tug boat I guess.

Looking at a 40' Broom at auction in Rotterdam. Current owner (93 years old) has started to renovate it so has taken bits off to achieve this. Hence it does not run.
It is being sold unseen (no viewing allowed) so should be cheap.
It is afloat at the moment.

Looking at a low cost way of getting it to the East Coast, possibly Gt Yarmouth.

Is it achievable?
Is it sensible?

(yes I know, there is no such thing as a cheap mobo)

I think you will find it will be far cheaper, easier and safer to stick it on the back of a lorry of a haulier who specialises in boat haulage.

I agree with Bruce, you have to remember if you attempt a tow you have to pay somebody fuel money and time for a return journey and without viewing there's no way of assessing it's sea worthiness.
 
It could sink under tow then you will have lost everything.. At least being towed it will also be insured.
Maybe there is a vessel that can transport it on deck ?
