There are two connections to the battery pack one is power etc down to the motor and the other is to the tiller.
If the battery does not become active until a circuit is made in the tiller assy. then difficult to tell which is the pos /neg.
One can either bridge all of the tiller pins to clear any capacitors therefore clearing error code memory or as an alternative leave it disconnected until such a time as any wiggle amps left it it have dissipated. How long this will take is unknown.
The unit is not working and at present looks like a visit to a Torqeedo engineer.
Discharging the units memory may resolve the error codes.
